Principles for Effective Project Management (Introductory Level)

In this two-day interactive program, participants will be introduced to important project management techniques, key terminology, and best practice methodologies. This will be in line with the global project management standards that are advocated by the Project Management Institute, Inc. (PMI)®. In this program, participants collectively work through each phase of the project life cycle, to apply the concepts learned.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Understand what project management means and its benefits.
  2. Identify the phases of the project life cycle and explain its characteristics.
  3. Define the project management knowledge areas in terms of their components and processes.
  4. Describe a generalized view of how the various project management processes commonly interact.
