Take your leadership skills to the next level.

Advance your skills with Future Ready Leadership 2. This program is designed to build on your skills and knowledge gained from our FRL 1 program or other previous training. Over the course of six months, this program helps participants advance their leadership skills and learn to handle more complex and challenging situations. 

Starting Fall 2018, we will be running a Future Ready Leadership Level 2 Open Seat program.

What You’ll Learn

The goal of this program is to enhance each participant’s current leadership skills and make them a more effective leader. Our Future Ready Leadership series is based on a set of ten core competencies: personal leadership, team leadership, facilitation skills, communication, embracing diversity, developing others, managing performance, coaching, facilitating change, and continuous learning. 

Communicate More Effectively and Enhance your Leadership Abilities

-        Explore the theory of Emotional Intelligence, recognize feelings and emotions and learn to manage them as a part of leading others

-        Identify the cause of complex problems and the techniques to solve them

-        Identify and practice different methods of negotiation

Manage Difficult Situations

  • Clearly and diplomatically communicate with internal and external governing bodies
  • Effectively resolve conflict by combining theoretical knowledge with practical hands-on conflict resolution skills
  • Develop strategies for facing challenges in a professional manner

How You’ll Learn

Future Ready Leadership 2 is designed to advance your knowledge of the essential leadership competencies needed in any organization. Participants will take part in our engaging and interactive program designed with different learning styles in mind. Participants will be led by one of our experienced and highly skilled facilitators through discussions, individual and group activities, and an interactive leadership panel.

We like to call the period in between each course the “soak” time where participants can take what they learn and apply it directly to their roles. Additional activities will be provided to reinforce the learning between courses.

Where You’ll Learn

We work closely with our clients to ensure that we meet all your needs – this includes location. Courses can take place at our location within Mohawk College’s Stoney Creek campus or at any location of your choice. That means, if you’d like us to come to you – we will set up shop at your location of choice.

Who Should Attend

This program is designed for individuals who have participated in previous leadership training.
