Grenning & Co. is an accounting firm located in Stoney Creek, Ontario that provides corporate and personal clients with a variety of essential services, including bookkeeping, accounting, payroll and taxation. Founded in 1999, Grenning & Co. has served Hamilton and surrounding areas with exceptional quality and prides itself on strong customer service. 
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a bookkeeper, the following are responsibilities of the role
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of customer's payroll
  • Preparation of HST and payroll remittances
  • Preparation of books to the year-end trial balance
  • Communicating with numerous corporate clients
  • On-site visits to clients to do all of the above

QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in the following programs is highly valuable:

  • Quickbooks
  • SimplyAccounting
  • Taxprep
  • Caseware

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, ect.)
  • Strong communication skills in person and on the phone (with clients and government offices)
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Deadline-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in time and task management
